NWT Tourism 2017 Operator of the Year!
Our lodge is located between beautiful Duncan and Graham Lakes, only a 20 minute floatplane flight north east of Yellowknife, Northwest Territories, Canada. Opened in 1970 as a sport fishing lodge, it is now a multi activity fly in wilderness lodge specialising in spring and fall aurora viewing, summer sport fishing, canoeing, camping and outdoor adventure. Gordon and Kathy Gin have owned this little jewel of the North since 2006 and have made tremendous improvements. Our staff are recognized as delivering best in class service and we are recognized as one of Canada's iconic destinations.
Experience the feisty fight of northern pike or lake trout at the end of your line. Kayak and photograph otters, eagles and black bears. Hike through boreal forest picking berries and watching for moose. Catch a fresh trout and prepare it over an open fire for a shore lunch with all the fixings, a Canadian tradition. Get to know your hosts and listen to tales of local folklore, history and life in the North. Look up from a roaring campfire and see the spectacular Northern Lights dancing across a star-splashed sky. Soak in our wood-fired hot tub, bed down in your cozy lake-front lodge or cabin and listen to the loons calling.
The natural beauty of the North Canadian Wilderness is pristine and we are comitted to providing our guests with the best of nature and ensuring the same for those who follow. In this land where you can still drink the water straight from the lakes, our guests have an opportunity to participate in the most memorable trip of their lifetime. Please enjoy your stay and respect the land, water, wildlife and fish.
